Not sure if I fully understand your description of the problem. That's the warning message you saw at the end of the 3 hour session, when you went to close the program?
Or is it the message you saw after a reboot?
Hopefully it's the former. I'd try a reboot, but there will be people along here shortly who are technical experts, they will help you.
In the mean time, you might want to work on the description & add your machine type, ram, OS X, etc.
thanks

The whole message, especially the part telling us what the problem is, would have been nice.
What exactly is the problem? Will the project not open now? Will FCP X not launch now? A message by itself means nothing.
And yes, Mac model, RAM, GPU, drive config, etc.

Can you post a screenshot of the message along with as much of the FCPX application screen that will fit? And, does this occur only when importing footage? What type of footage are you importing?

What is the specific problem you have when the program closes? Please post a screenshot of the entire message. Also, give more hardware details of your iMac.
