Music Video transitions effect?

I'm just curious on how people do the music video transitions for like hip hop videos and such :whistle: .



They do it a lot in the video between 1:25-1:30.
And also towards the end it's like the chopped type thing to it i dontk now how to describe it.

There are quite a few different transitions shown in this video, you'll have to be more specific about which one you seek to duplicate. Perhaps view the video & keep your eye on the timer, then let us know in minutes & seconds where the transition occurs.

I suspect you mean the flashing strobe transition. Where we see short staccato bursts of the coming shot in 2 or 3 frame increments. There's a free plugin offered on this site in the Free Plugins & Templates section

Actually thats exactly what i'm looking for, I know i could've been more specific and i apologize for that. But that is what i'm looking for so thank you!

Look up "Template Master" on the app store and extract the "Free Strobe" effect.

My 'Premonition' transition shows flickering bits of the next clip, with the option of showing a moment elsewhere in the timeline flickering instead:
