Can I keep original filenames when imprting MXF files into FCPX?

I am importing C300 .MXF files into FCPX.
FCPX transcodes these to QuickTimes and thus doing create new file names. These are in the forms of dates.
I have got EDLs from the original MXF files. Is there anyway that FCPX can import MXF files and keep the same naming convention when converting them to MOVS?
