Best Freeze Frame Workflow?

Best Freeze Frame Workflow? was created by RRKPL
In legacy FCP you could bring up a clip in the Viewer place the playhead were you wanted, choose 'Make Freeze Frame' and then drag it into the time line. I know how to create a 'Hold' frame in FCP X by putting a clip or selection of a clip in the timeline and using the Retime function but I need to just pull stills from clips in the event library and stick them in the timeline without putting the whole clip in and then having to trim around them.
I have been taking a clip in the event library and using the 'open in timeline' command, then under 'Share' using the 'save current frame' command, exporting the frame and reimporting the still frame to the event library and then placing it in the timeline but I was hoping someone had found a better workflow.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not near FCP to check this but you can copy/paste a hold frame. Try this - open event clip in timeline, create a hold clip (shift H), copy it and then switch to your main timeline and paste. Give it a try.

Thanks anickt!
That's definately a shorter workflow. The only thing one has to remember doing that is to 'undo' the hold before taking the clip back out of the timeline or else the clip will have a perminante 'hold frame' from then on.
