Mac App store ignores VAT

Mac App store ignores VAT was created by Peter386
Wanting to buy FCPX for my business, but found an issue with the Mac App store. As a pro customer based in Europe/Belgium I can't enter my VAT ID, and Apple doesn't send an invoice with their address and VAT details on it (it's a receipt with this statement on the bottom: This is not a VAT notice).
I've been researching this a bit and stumbled on this story:

It seems like it will take a lot of hassle to get a proper invoice, which is required by law for any business. What's up with that?

You can get iTunes gift-cards from your local dealer then you get the VAT (on dealer sales receipt) and then you pay appstore with them.
