Video Flips upside down and backwards!

I hear some people are having problems with FCPX, but something strange happened to me using my setup. After filming a short clip on my Canon 60D I imported it into FCPX 10.0.5 running OS X 10.8.1 on a 2010 iMac and while I was using the stabilisation control the video flipped upside down and backwards in both the viewer and timeline! Strange crap! Anyway, I just disabled the stabilisation control and the clip returned to normal.

Has anyone heard of this kind of behaviour in FCPX?

It can happen. It depends completely on the media that's being stabilized.

I finding that adjusting the scales under the stabilization tabs brings the video back to normal with corrections. Maybe this is not a bug just over-sentivity of the function.
