So I am having two issues.

The first is not really a 10.8.1 issue I had it with 10.8,
1. When I make a multicam clip. I can add the clip to my timeline but when I open up the Angle Viewer. I see only black. I can edit as if I can see the footage playing. By clicking on each video to choose my angle or even using the keyboard short cuts and it switches. I know the video is playing since, if I choose to show the timecode overlays, the timecode is moving but not picture in the Angle Viewer.

Now I have trashed preferences, Repaired permissions, I even created a new user account to see it if was a issue with my user account. I am at a loss on what else to try. I noticed this on 10.8 and it persists through 10.8.1

2. This issue just started to happen with 10.8.1, Every time when I open Final Cut Pro X, I get a color shift in my laptop display. It is like it is changing the color profile. But when I go to system preferences I am still using the COLOR LCD profile that is recommended for the display. When I quit Final Cut Pro X it switches again. Basically the display gets a slight blue/cooler cast when FCPX is open, when I close it, the screen warms up?

Again I have tried this on multiple user accounts. But This just started happening right after the 10.8.1 update.

Luckily my main edit machine is still on 10.7 but these 2 kinks are really killing me and I cant figure it out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks @Soundwise the Multicam issue was Lock and Load. I was couldnt remember if I had done multicam on 10.8 or not and really needed it to get it to work.

Also on the color shift issue, I got it resolved by using Digital Rebellions "System Toolkit"

I used it to trash the Quicktime cache and the Kernel Cache. This fixed the issue to the color shift. I even noticed at the apple store yesterday, that their computers do the color shift when you open up final cut pro x.

The 2nd issue is a known Moutain Lion issue. When the discrete graphics card kicks in it can sometimes cause a colour shift. The work arounds are to go into power settings and untick 'auto switch' and reboot your mac. Normal colour will return. You can then switch auto switching back on but I've found it always comes back in a day or two so just leave it set to discrete now till they fix things.
