Slideshow Help was created by pvanwagoner
Hello,

First off, let me preface this by saying I am a complete FCP beginner and I am also not using FCP for its typical purpose. I work for a couple music venues and we run slideshows that include artist posters for upcoming shows, advertisements for our business, as well as a scroll that displays all our upcoming shows. The scroll is where I am having problems. It is essentially one document that is much larger than the set screen size, and we set it up to scroll from the bottom to top, like movie credits. My issue is that is constantly speeds up and slows down and I don't know how to prevent that.

I am able to make it scroll by adding keyframes and then adjusting the X or Y position at the beginning and end. The scrolling itself is fine, in terms of it going from bottom to top, it just speeds up and slows down, making it not look very good.

Any help with this would be great. TIA.

Google "fxfactory manifesto." If you install FxFactory and enable the Manifesto plugin, it will make it much easier for you. All you have to do is paste in the text and then you can adjust the parameters in the Inspector.

Thanks a lot guys. I think both of these will help fix my problem. Won't be able to test it out until Monday, but I'm confident this will work.
