Copy Paste transitions

Hi,

After copying a transition, I select the destination transition and paste it over. Sometimes it works, sometimes it ripple my clips.
Often in the second time I try to paste the copied one I have problems

Any experiences in copying transitions ?

If you hold option down and drag the transition you want to another transition point, it'll drag and copy it to the new point for you, leaving the other transition in place as well. Nice little tip, hope that helps with what you are looking for.

I copy transitions a lot. I find the whole selection of edit points/end points a bit fiddly. Rarely am I zoomed in on the timeline when adding transitions as its often a part of my onlining pass. I copy and paste them. It doubles up when you don't select the edit point properly. You need to have the little yellow bracket points either side for it to work. Personaly, it would be massively improved if it just posted the transition to where the playhead is IMHO.

When doing my first cut, I often add default transitions where is needed (dissolve), later I would replace these transitions with a custom one I did.
What I was trying to do is copy me custom transition, select the dissolve and paste to replace it, but got some weird results.
