Smashed lens effect ?

Im looking for an effect which makes it look like the camera lens has been cracked, does anybody know how to do this or where i can download one ? Or possible make one if its not to difficult and can be done in fcpx not in motion as i don't have motion ?

Would have to be done in Motion. I'm guessing a nice Replicator with a Sequence behavior would do really nicely. So, what would happen to the image after the lens cracks? Fade out? Pieces fly away? Nothing but a hold frame?
