Best way to order files was created by Frankly
In FCP7 I had a whole file system for all my files. Like Audio, Audio Export, Artwork, Text, Photo, FCP Project, FCP Export and so on...
But what is the best way to do it in FCPX. I know that I now have to folders with Events en Projects. So I think that the best way is to place the folders like Audio, Audio Export, Artwork, Text, Photo in the Event folder and the FCP Export folder in Projects.
Maybe some one have a better system to do this?
And then the next thing. I import video files mostly from an SD card. But sometimes I get video's on a Ext. Harddisk. When I import from an SD card then everything is ok. All the files are going to the Transcoded Media folder. But when I add files from an other place then they don't copy to this folder. What to do...

Keyword you files in the Events just like you did with Bins in v.7, since it's a system that already works for you.
When Importing files from a hard drive, just be sure the option to copy files into your Event folder is checked.

All right! So when I use an camera and choose for compress to ProRes then i'm ok because it put the compressed files in my Event folder. When I want to import something else I use the option to copy in event folder. I though that that was in the Finder -> Films folder
Thanks

You can copy it to the Event Folder.
If it's already organized in folders already, then don't copy it to the Event folder if you don't want to, and tell it to use folder names as keywords.
But coping things to the Event folder or not is your choice.
