Can Final Cut Pro 7 utilize Events and keyword collections generated in FCP X?

I'm working with an editor who only uses FCP 7 on a project that I shot in AVCHD format. In order to save his time (and my $$$), I'm creating an Event and generating all the high quality media, and keywording collections within the Event, in my Final Cut Pro X.

I'm assuming he'll be able to use the ProRes media, but is there any way that the keywords will accessible to him? There's a lot of footage and the keywords would help him to organize the material. If not, I'll have to duplicate the files and create my own collections using folders, so he's not sorting through hundreds of clips.

Thanks for any insights.

Google Xto7 and see if it does what you need.

Tom: I have that app, and as far as I can tell, it's for translating FCPX Projects, not Events. It only handles XML files...from what I can gather.

I just want to get this guy clips organized by subject matter (or keywords) that are already coded into Pro Res, to save some time. So it's not a project I'm exporting.

No, Xto7 does not translate keywords or Events. What you'll see in the 7 project Browser are just all media assets listed, no organization.
