Otherwise, you can create a subfolder "Favorites" for each subfolder in User/video/Motion Templates, then drag your templates in there.
But you'll have to let effects in effects, generators in generators... and so on.

Also, the more familiar you become with them, you can call them up by a keyword at the bottom of the window. Don't be daunted by the overwhelming number of FX, the more tools you have the more versatile your work's potential.

I would like to have a FAVS folder with some effects-plugins in there...

You just can't have one Favorites folder that covers all categories.

From my point of view that is not a good idea especially when you work on several machines or exchange projects with others.
Dependent on the type of plug in (must be Motion Template) you can do a little hack on them which is way saver.
Open the template in text editor (TextWrangler recommend).
Find:
<factory id="16" uuid="fdc1944b229111d7b1c300039389b702">
<description>Channel</description>
<manufacturer>Apple</manufacturer>
<version>1</version>
</factory>
<template>
<theme>My Theme</theme>
</template>
"My Theme" is just a placeholder for a theme.
Replace the theme text with some thing of your choice like "Favorite Title", "Favorite Transition" etc.
In case you don't find the
<template>
go down the text till the last of the "</factory>" entries.
Then insert the
"
<template>
<theme>My Theme</theme>
</template>
"
and save.
This won't change the file path of the effect and will be compatible with any setup even if the setup on another machine's templates do not have the same themes.
Read the MTT manual its explained there a bit more in depth.
