Special effects

I am making a video that is Super mario themed and i wanted to add the coin effect that pops out the ?box when mario hits it.. How would i go about doing this? is it possible?

Are you talking about real life footage or...? A sample would help.
If it"s a game capture, Motion would be here your friend you can create the coin in Photoshop and use Motion to animate the image.

yes i would like to add the special effect of the coin to real life footage.. ill try and upload a sample when i get home. so i use motion and photo shop then can i just place it in my final cut where ever i want?
