The link to the video is listed below:

I can't really access the camera at the moment, is there a way to check the settings by the tape that was used and contains the footage?

Import Assets
Incompatible Format

Does your project match the same settings as your imported assets?
To change the DVD Studio Pro project to a HD-DVD,look in the General tab of the Disc window. It's in the window pane on the lower right. There are four radio buttons. Two for NTSC & PAL, two for SD & HD-DVD.

Before Noco and I get you confused. What is your deliver format that you are wanting HD or SD?

Well I would like HD for a better picture (If thats correct) but I've already created a HD DVD with a DVD-R but the video did not play, all I got was files, not sure if it was because of incorrect compressor settings. I have created a SD which worked but the picture looked messy (Thinking its either compressor settings of FCPX). Could you also take a look at the video I provived on the 2nd page of the thread? If you look at the women with the black shirt and white dress with black strips you'll see its all messed up, I need to know how to fix that.

Take a look at the women with the black top and bottom white dress with black strips, her black strips should be soild shouldnt they? Yet it looks all messed up... This is my problem at the moment, How can I fix this and provide the best quailty?

Looks like SD DV footage to me. If you want more details and a sharper quality you need to have it in a HD resolution. Does your final project have to DVD maybe considering to file format or stream for internet?

I actually have to make it into a DVD by using DVD SP since I also have to include a menu, this is what clients want. Unfortunately, All they know are DVD. As for the DVD SP project regarding your provided settings I changed the DVD Standard to HD DVD and got a warning saying...

Illegal angle situation. Only the Main Video Angle will be simulated.

Is this video for you or for clients? If it's for you HD DVD is fine, but if it's for clients I can strongly recommend SD DVD as HD DVD wont play in the majority of players.

You can't check the settings by looking at the tape. Have you tried creating a project with the "Video Properties" set to "Set based on first video clip" to see what FCPX thinks it is?

Yes this is for clients, not for myself. I will take your advice and make it into a SD DVD, as for trying to create a project with properties set to "Set based on first video clip" I haven't done, I'll do so now.

DVDSP only does "HD DVD", a standard that was beat out by "Blu Ray", and players have not been sold in ages. The one's it burns will play on those old players and your Mac, ONLY.

If you start by shooting SD video, never try to go to HD, it'll look horrible.

If you start by shooting HD video, you can easily go to SD, it'll look better than if it was originally shot in SD.
