Final Cut Pro 7 won't open!

Hello!

I need to export some movies out of FCP 7 (using 7toX) but suddenly... 7 won't open.

I get the banner, and I can see the plugins loading... then nothing. There is no error message, it just doesn't open.

I called Apple, but they wouldn't help me. I'm hoping one of you nice experts can shine some light on my problem.

The free app "Preference Manager" from Digital Rebellion. Use it to trash FCP 7's pref files quickly, easily, safely. FCP 7 should launch after that.

I've thrown the preferences away over and over again, with and without Preference Manager, but it still won't open.

Do you have any other suggestions?
