select and reposition a group of clips? was created by plysat
Is there a modifier key that would allow me to drag/reposition a group of clips (a title made up of 3 clips with one word on each on top of one another in the timeline) all at once? Seems like I've done it before... TIA

A few ways off the top of my head.
Command-click each one to select what you want all together. Then one of the following:
Just drag them.
Option-G to put them all in a Compound Clip and drag that.
With either of the above two, type in a plus (to move right) or minus (to move left) sign, then the timecode you want to move by (ex: "8" for 8 frames, "2.04" for 2 seconds and 4 frames).

Was trying to drag them left or right in the frame in the transform viewer or whatever we call it now...
Realized I could just move 'em as a compound clip about 2 seconds after I posted... I just thought I was able to reposition a group of clips in the window before... could be mis-remembering.. lol Thanks!
