FCP 7 File Compatibility With FCPX - Yes or no? was created by rocknrollchef
So what's the skinny on being able to open & use older FCP projects with FCPX? I've heard they are NOT compatible, which sucks for people like me who may be interested in upgrading, but have a lot of time invested in an unfinished project with FCP 7. Let me know if you know...

Great apps! That said, the current version of Xto7 on the app store is broken, You can email the developer for a temporary fix and, I must say, the soon to be released newer version works really really well.

thanks again for the quick response... it would seem I'm getting pushed harder towards investing the time to learn FCPX (like I needed some more f**king stuff to do!!!!!). Meantime... can anyone provide a DIRECT LINK to the "7 to X" app? Cause I am having one hell of a time trying to track that down (endless loop to nowhere) thanks again
