Video quality is in the camera and lens, not in an effect. A good quality HD camera with a good quality lens, and properly set for the shot, with good lighting. Nothing can replace that.

Here is a quick analysis of the video:

The low light shots were shot with a wide open aperture, producing a shallow depth of field with the main subject directly in focus. This makes the main subject look very crisp in relation to the background. Lots of attention to focus in this video, good camera work. I particularly like when the camera operator focuses on the sparks and leaves the aperture just wide enough to keep the rappers face sharp. But you can see if you look carefully during the second rapper, he goes in and out of focus because he is stepping in and out of the swallow depth of field produced by the wide open aperture.

The green screen shots are well lit and easier to control focus.

There is color correction on every shot, like in a lot of hip hop music videos they crush the blacks, meaning there is less contrast the darker you go in the brightness / luminance.
