Project Properties Issue

After cutting a project I just realized my project properties were 1080p - 23.98p

I'm not sure how my frame rate changed, all of my other projects at 29.97p, as is my footage. When I go to the inspector to change the Project Properties, the drop down box only shows 23.98p...it used to have multiple options.

My existing projects in 29.97p now only have that frame rate in the drop box without an other options.

Was there an update that messed this up?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Rob

Quick fix is to create a brand new Project, configure Custom properties. Then in your original Project, "Select All", "Copy", go to the new Project, "Paste".

That's what I came up with eventually, but there's got to be a reason you can no longer change the frame rate of a project...you used to be able to

Cause the FCP team figured no one needed to have that much flexibility in setting up Timeline properties. Like, they have no clue what editors actually need now. Unlike when they were building legacy FCP. It just baffles me.

Wow Ben why all the frustration now that FCPX is better than ever??
Remember when you drilled into me for complaining and saying all this same stuff with
10.0? haha

Hey I agree for the most part, I'm just curious why now...?
