Audio Visuaizer for FCPX

Audio Visuaizer for FCPX was created by windsong
iTunes has a great visualizer when playing songs or music. I'd like to record one or two for use in videos but I don't see an easy way to do it - and perhaps Apple wouldn't allow it anyway.
So . . . does anyone know of a plug-in for FCPX that might do the same thing - and is free?

I wonder if there is a copyright issue with the iTunes visualizer?
You can do it in Motion easily enough; there is a tutorial out there somewhere that does it step by step (so that even a complete Motion Novice like me can work it out).
Also CoreMelt offer a free plug in that converts your audio to waveforms; it works well, but again only in Motion.
