Hi: Is there a simple method to retouch out sensor dust spots and/or hot pixels in DSLR video clips using Final Cut Pro X? I'm a pro still shooter getting into video and I've recently had to shoot stopped down and picked up some dust spots in clips that I'd love to get rid of. Thanks, Bob Krist

this sounds like a job for a compositing package... I've removed dead pixels using after effects, but i think motion would be capable of performing this task... and at $50, it's a steal.
then just look for some video tutorials. shouldn't be too hard to find.
my method was to just double the video layers, move the bottom layer over a couple pixels. punch a hole in the top layer where the dust is and blur the hole by a pixel. since the video underneath will be close to the pixel color, the hole shouldn't be too noticeable.
