All this pro stuff I think is great, as soon as I can monitor colours properly on a reference monitor and play out to tape without having to export a quicktime to do so I'll be happy to use it in a professional environment. I'm sure when Apple release the APIs developers will be able to release apps/plugins to do everything we want, it's actually a pretty smart move from apple to not manage these features (OMF, EDL, XML, EDIT TO TAPE, LOG AND CAPTURE) themselves. They are the things that make pros loose there mind when they don't work (or don't exist). We all like to whinge allot so we really aren't the kind of people apple want around, but the pro community makes Apple "cool" so they need us. Quite a dilemma.
