90% of this this site is dead in the water. Why not in 2013 concentrate on what makes this site great?
Topics like:
FCP X for beginners
FCP X for Pros
FCP X Tips Tricks and Learning
FCP X General Discussion (where of course 99% of all traffic will go)
FCP X Effects
FCP X Forget the rest.
Despite this I want to say a big thank you Peter for providing us us with this most awesome resource.
You truly are NUMBER ONE in my eyes.
Hope you have an amazing Christmas, Happy New Year and all your wishes come true.
Especially the only relating to FCP X
See you in 2013!

The beginner & pro separation might be helpful. Can't say I agree that 90% of the site is "dead in the water." People are visiting here, reading & contributing to many aspects of filmmaking that's all related to FCPX. How can that not be a good thing?
Just like Motion is inextricably interwoven with FCPX, though I'm not currently using it or learning about it to the depth I one day will, that doesn't mean I resent its presence here. It's all related, all part of the creative film process. Or as the young people are fond of saying now...
It's all good.
PS - If you like Tips & Tricks, I highly recommend adding Larry Jordan to your Twitter follow list. It seems he's putting out 2 or 3 FCPX tips a day, all fully detailed, often with videos.

A lot of what we do will borderline some topic headings. You'll get stuff all over the map, I think. I also so not thing most of this site is dead in the water, either. All forums have history, and it's nice to be able to search that.
I'd love to see an Exchange section. I have a MBP and soon a MP I'm going to sell. I'd love to be able to list them here. But there is no place to post stuff for sale here.
