2019 Mac Pro or Hackintosh? was created by arc
I am not saying the 2019 Mac Pro dose not work. I am saying some people might prefer to build a Hackintosh. Apple could have offered an entry level workstations for $1800.00 but in my opinion they care more about profits than the users needs. I want to clarify there is nothing wrong with spending 10K on a computer system but Apple cannot offer dual CPUs or 64 core AMD CPUs. Why not? For some people dual CPUs are more useful than dual GPUs.

I'm a retired IT engineer, and I strongly disagree. But, this is all just our personal opinions. If Apple made projects that were inferior, they'd not be as healthy of a company as they are.

Thank you for agreeing with me.
I bet you didn't know we agree did you? Of course not because you stated you strongly disagreed which is incorrect.
You stated Apple is healthy. I agree because the customers pay an Apple tax and always will. There are many Apple users who have built Hackintosh Computers and probably still will. Apple making a lot of money does not equate to Apple making products that match the users needs. Can you honestly say that if HP could sell computers with OS X no one would buy them? That is what you would have to be able to say in order to debunk my video. No one is arguing Apple is making a lot of money. In fact I stated that in my video. We both Agree my friend.

Sorry, I don't see any logic to what you're saying. But, you're entitled to your opinion, and we do not agree. Best of luck in your endeavors.

I will agree that lately AMD CPUs are more powerful than anything Intel has and cheaper.
That's all I have to add to this conversation, other than I would like to see a $4k version of the Mac Pro that can still be expanded by the user. That may be coming soon.

I agree AMD has upped the ante. Apple users have to take what Apple offers. There are no options for AMD CPUs or NVIDIA GPUs. Having said that I think we will still see hackintosh computers and I don't doubt some of them will be using the AMD CPUs.
