Just bought the Pro version. Been waiting for a sale so hit the buy button.
Have been using the Standard version for years and really like the app. Very active development.
Haven't used Photoshop in years and years (CS4).

This is a great deal, I hope that I haven't missed this deal as I have a lot of projects to create for a new client that I am working with. I will be needing this software to create images for the online shop categories like ferret cages , pet bed, dog collars and more. Thank you for sharing it.

IMHO the pro version is now the way to go. It has a totally new interface, my main issue with this is the contrast and size of fonts in interface are difficult for my old eyes, but I manage and all of the new features and speed make the pro version worth the extra cost. By the Way, the new normal price is now $39.99USD. (Wonder if half off sales will still occur?)

While the developers are still updating the older version, I think most new features will be for the Pro version only and the updates to the older version most likely will be for compatibility with macOS. As stated in the above blog post, Pro is replacing the standard version. Only the Pro version takes full advantage of new OS changes like Metal and ML/AI. I believe that "extensions" are more robust, but I seldom use extensions and prefer to launch app for editing photos.

I have now fully switched to the Pro version and have not updated or used the older version lately. Next clean OS update I do, (Mojave??) I won't even bother to install old version. Very impressed in all the development that continues to go into the app. Think the Pro version requires 2012 Macs and High Sierra or newer, old version works with older hardware. Both versions are great!
