VR, 360, Immersive - Intels CEO Krzanich's 50min on the future of TV/Movies

yeah, Meltdown and Spectre were a 4min topic in his keynote today @CES2018/Vegas too, but it looks like, Intel invests heavily in that new toys, voxels, freeD etc.

100 5k cams, 3TB/min of data - is a number … a free cam position for sports - hooray on that, but their 10k square feet 100 cam array? … makes movies looking like video games, my 5¢ (what happened to editing??)

concerning 'free choice of cam angle', a famous TVmaker here in Germany commented +20y ago, when a station allowed 8 individually pov for Formula1 races, "the audience likes one choice on it remote control: on/off"

And I still don't get it with these clumsy 'helmets'....

… big show...
