Spam files across folder for size for backup

As usually the famous backup question.

I have project art is approx 7TB Large from RAW to the project files. It time to back this up on to LTO and hard drive.
Problem is the drives and tapes are around 3TB. Is there a software that will put the files in separated folders by size so from there I can copy them to the correct drive?

Each of these 3 apps might accomplish what you are looking for too. I use Hazel myself for sorting files from a watched folder - but not for the specific purpose you've asked about. I think they all have trials or demos though so you might try experimenting with:
