My wish, a 17 inch MacBook Pro laptop, with all the right GPU's and CPU's and 4x256GB fastest SSD known to man or woman, in a case that allows me to upgrade, replace like the old silver keyboard MacBook Pro, when the cheap as chips Mac laptop was more plastic than a cupboard full of Tupperware!!!

But Jony and best friend Tim refuse to design functional eco friendly devices.. And please please dear Jony, can my 17inch laptop have magnetic power???????

strange it didn't made it into the 10_3 upgrade … (??).

'Mac with disk bays' … hmm, hard to believe; … my tea-leafs tell me: portable = no disks at all, or networked/wired/external. Plus, all pros complain/demand a Lego-computer … but how many in real-life swap disks, GPUs? Due to auto-send fail-reports, Apple has an exact overview of how many customised MPs exist .... probably too niché?

'17" MB' … before the nMBp I would have said, those dinosaurs are impractical, unhandy, extinct for a reason, but since the press-foto of a MacBook firing two 5k displays … don't imagine the price tag for such LOL

You do know that Apple makes the most ecosystem friendly devices on the market today, right?

Actually they are not, by not allowing owners to upgrade RAM, hard drives, batteries, and so on, you are forced to toss in the landfill hardware that might have had a longer working life, but no the use of glue and solder, for no technical reason is a bad idea.

Apple used to have eco friendly devices, now the laptops are some of the worst offenders in terms of contributing to technology waste.
