Hei!

I'm looking for sound effect for transitions, like the one described above. I want sounds like in this video: vimeo.com/196579795

I have been on soundsnap for hours, and I can't find those types of sounds. It's not fast whoosh, but slow and a bit deep wind sounds. I no longer know what words to search for. Does this have any other names?

Much of that sounds to have been custom designed on a synthesizer. I'm not familiar with your service, as we use Audioblocks.com, and I can find those types of wind sounds fairly easily. Also, consider taking shorter, higher pitched sound clips, retiming them them 40 or less percent, with pitch preservation turned off. I find speeding up or slowing down audio to give some very interesting and useful results.

Don't know how he acquired the whoosh sounds, but he has gotten a lot from Soundsnap. If they include the whoosh, I don't know. I ended up making my own. Put a sock over my mic, and blew through it with my nose. Swiped my hand over my couch. Good enough for this project, but later on I need something better.
I ended up, as you said, to retime and pitching the clips to make them stitch better to the transition.

Have been searching (15 min) the sites you two gave me, but haven't found anyone I like. Probably some of them can be retimed and pitched to make them sound better.

Thank you both!
