Creative Brainstorm thread

Hey guys I thought a brainstorming thread would be cool to share ideas on projects. Or in case someone has a creative brain fart.
Like myself at the moment.

I hope we can share and help each other out.

At the moment we are about to finish up a project.
But we like to create a directors cut for ourselves.
I just can't get way from the main concept. Originally we have footage of portraits in front of black background which all are looking into the camera (dialog is running underneath). With a dolly in.

I have footage where the talents look into the camera in front, from the side or they look up into the camera.
For the original cut I used only the clips where the talent looks straight in to the camera.

Anyways what would guys do other then original what suggstion do you have?
