Playing a Movie from a Thumb Drive was created by Eddie1

Hi, I'm a newbie and very happy to have found this place. I have a 23GB 4 hour movie that can be shared down to a total of 6GB. It does fine on a DVD but not so much on a thumb drive. When plugging in on the DVD player usb port and going from chapter to chapter, it seems to skip around and or not play at all. The reason I'd like it on a thumb drive is convenience.
Thanks so much for any suggestions you may offer.
Sincerely,
Eddie
