Duplicating iSight-camera on iPad in full-screen for interview setting?

Hi everyone,
I want to shoot some interviews Errol-Morris-Style with the subject looking straight into the camera. To achieve this I'll use a teleprompter showing the interviewer. Like this the subject will talk directly to the interviewer (through the prompter) and not feel so awkward talking into a camera.
It's all pretty much set up and tested and works well. I use "Duet" to make my iPad a second screen. On my laptop I start facetime or iMovie, which fires up the iSight camera. Drag the iSight-image to the iPad in the teleprompter and done. BUT: the mentioned apps to get the iSight camera going (face-time, iMovie) always show much more than just the plain picture. I want an app that shows as much of the iSight-image as possible without all that garbage around which takes up precious prompter space.
The built-in photo booth app is not option because it interferes with my blackmagic intensity which I use for the inbound camera picture.
Any ideas? Does anyone know how to grab the iSight-picture only? Your help is much appreciated!
Have a nice evening,
Sebastian
