What terms do people use these days?
I'm having to do a release form and I'm not sure which term to use -filmed or video taped.
Is there a better generic term?

Filmed, video taped, videoed, digital filming, they're all the same thing. For legal forms, if you're recording digitally, I'd use digital film or digital video. "Video" is what we all do now, there's no physical celluloid film used much except very high end productions. Our release form states "visual and/or auditory recording". Drop me a private message and I can get a standard release form to you that you can modify to your own use.

Thanks for the reply! 'Visual and/or auditory recording' covers it. Will send you a pm for release form.
