Affinity Photo Beta available now

So they are advertising it as the new Photoshop Killer. It'll cost a lot less (but not cheap), and has modern coding. I just downloaded the beta version. Will be interesting to see how this holds up.

Defiantly looks more promising then Pixelmator did.

We will see how this one will turn out. Te Refine selection didn't work as demonstrated in the video. But hey we are in Beta right?

I downloaded the beta too and it looks like it has potential. I rather like their sister app Affinity Designer and I use it and Pixelmator too. I'm not sure Adobe worries about anything killing off Photoshop but in my case I haven't used it for a while now - and I own a bunch of Photoshop plugins.

The app does look promising so far. About the only thing I use Photoshop for these days is working with exr files, everything else I do in Pixelmator.

I used to use their PagePlus app many years ago. I had Pagemaker too but there were many times PagePlus just got the job done faster.
