I'm not sure when version 4 will appear.
This is a very active development team and updates happen quite often. 3 this year I think.
I started either late vers 1 or early 2 and each update has been free.
Each update has added features and bug fixes. Must say it is very stable.
About biggest complaint is it does not support CMYK color profiles.
Could use better vector graphics.
Layers are showing great improvements like finally being able to lock layers so you don't accidentally change something.
Healing and effects are fantastic.
Just scanned lots of old B&W photos to email out and "remastered/retouched/repaired" them. Hand colored one like the old days.
For the price of about month of PS on CC, well worth it.
Haven't opened my old copy of PS from CS4 in over a year.
With Apple dropping Aperature, "Photos" not ready and who know what it will have, as Dave said…"No brainer"

Ben I haven't tried the iOS version, but then again I only have an iPhone and wouldn't photo edit on it. Old eyeballs and fat fingers.
