AVI to MOV trancoding? was created by BenB
A friend has a cheap Aiptek V5Z6 video camera, which records AVI files. From what I can decipher, they are H.263 with AVI wrapper. Any one know of any app that can transcode this dead codec to ProRes?

That's Windows software. And what I've tested of these freebie things is that they do H.263 or H.264 QT files, not ProRes.
