Mic for outside interview

I am shooting an interview outside, and I am looking for a good mic solution. I will be recording on Canon 60D cameras, and I have one interview object, but I would also like my own voice asking the questions to be pretty much the same quality in the interview.
What would be the best mic option in this case?

Lav mics are an altervative, also. These can be connected to a wireless system, or directly to a pocket sized audio recorder that is capable of a 48kHz sample rate. I've used iPhones for this before with amazing quality results. Good for a budet system.
Hand held news style can give you somewhat better audio quality, and make both speakers sound the same. Get what is called a "dead cat" for the mic (the foam filter that mics come with handle dead air in a room, not wind). A "dead cat" is a fluffy, hairy thing that helps kill off wind noise.
Alternative is a boom mic (lower end yet good quality such as AudioTechnica AT835b, or high end Sennheiser MKH-416), on a quality boom pole (Rode makes a super nice, inexpensive one), with a "blimp" (a cage that the mic is held suspended by elastic bands in, creates a "dead air space"), covered by a "dead cat" (cutting outdoor wind from the Blimp's dead air space).
