Need idea for Music Video!

Hey guys! I really love this forum! I always get ideas and replies that are helpful! I would like to ask one more thing!
Heres a song:

I have been given the task to make a music video for it! What I'm thinking of is a narrative style video! I can do all the editing and the colors quite good, but suggestions are welcome.
Anyways, That is the song. The main singer will be showed in the video, but it will be mainly a narrative style video, showing him doing something. Also, the video will be shot in a mega city(dubai) if that helps the task!

English is not my native tongue, nor am I good in poetry & metaphors - so, making this handicap to an advantage:

noticeable is the perpetual use of "lookin' around" … 

Instantly, the pic comes to mind:
lots of 360° pans - with the effect that 'she' appears manifold in the same shot!

imagine, the cam stands on some plaza.
a very slow and constant 360° pan.
the girl in the blue shirt ( = whatever makes her 'stand out') stands still, looking towards camera aside the fountain; a few degrees later aside the shop; a few degrees later aside the car; ...

next 360 in a shopping mall.
next 360 at the beach
next 360 ...

'story': he's looking for her. finds her anywhere. can not find her.

Neither is my first language English (No wonder I had to lookup the meaning of manifold on google). So you are saying a 360* pan from the girls view, if i'm not wrong? And bits of frames in between that show her looking around in all directions?
I was thinking going like she's in the middle of a crowd, looking everywhere, and then during some parts of the songs I can add the original video of the singer playing his guitar. Finally the guy finds the girl, he looks at her, but when he reaches her, she's gone?
What say?

No, no! 'We' are lost in translation
Vice versa:

the camera is point-of-view, like YOU are standing on that plaza, turning yourself slowly a full circle. And WHILE watching, you are noticing that girl in the blue shirt/with red hat/funny shoes at many locations simultaneously!

she's not moving, she's not running - she just stands there, motionless. only the cam pans.

the audience will need a while to pick her up (that's why I say: give her same colorful dress, an 'indicator').


it's just 360° pans - with the surprising element, that this girl is not only once, like a real person, in each shot, but multiple times!

... not easy to realize, but I imagine those slow pans well fitting to the music.
and her 'ghostly' appearance picks up the 'poetry' ...
