Have been using the handy cam at work, Canon Legria HFR26. It have always worked fine, but now I having trouble downloading content.

"No images on the memory card meets the download conditions" is the messages a get when I connect the camera to my Mac.
FCPX is also unable to find any content.

If I go through Finder and folder of the camera, I find one big file(6gb) which is probably all my clips as a AVCHD content.
Why isn't this working?

Have been recording directly to build in memory card.

New information:

When I connect the camera to a PC it works fine. I can open the folder and see the AVCHD-folder and STREAM(where my clips are).
But my Mac can't seem to figure it out.
What?!

New information:
I have made contact with my clips.

I right clicked on the avchd-file --> show content.
Did the same with the bdmv, and now I can see all the .mts files.

I let FCPX running, and after a while it figured it out. I can now download the files :)

It's been almost 2 years since I used AVCHD, but if I remember correctly it was problematic so I had to convert it before ingestion. Do a search on converting AVCHD for FCPX.

If I can remember correctly, I think I used something like ClipWrap to convert them.

I found out that Mountain Lion is handling avchd in a different way than the previous versions.
They files won't appear like they used to.

But I found a way, so it's ok now :)

Glad to hear you got it worked out. Maybe you could post a link here or brief description how you did it, just in case anyone else following this thread has a similar trouble.

thanks Neguah

How I did it:

Well, it actually wasn't so hard. I was just a drama queen...

I connect my camera. Icon for the camera pops up, and I click on it.
The AVCHD folder comes up. In order to see the content inside the AVCHD-folder I have to right click the folder, and then chose show content.
Several folders is shown. Now click on the BDMV-folder. Right click and show content. When you right click, your .mts files are shown.

When you connect the camera to FCPX, first FCPX doesn't do anything. Well, it's running, trying to figure out where the clips are. After maybe 2 minutes FCPX finds the clips.

Mountain Lion is arranging AVCHD-files in a different way than the previous versions. Don't know why. That's why the files won't appear right away.
