FCP X - Color Correction/Resolve was created by Excelbud
Good afternoon,
Do you color correct clips before or after you begin editing?
I recently downloaded DaVinci Resolve lite and began learning some simple color correcting techniques. FCP X has decent color correction tools but it is not sufficient for my needs. Historically, I have edited my project in FCP X then began color correcting the entire project. However, with Resolve lite, it had made a it a little challenging. I just wanted to get others opinion and best practices.
Thanks!

The usual workflow is to edit first. Color correcting is part of the finishing.
On a similar note, the new MacPro set up is getting everyone excited at DaVinci Resolve.
