I quite like this.

I do not even own an iPad but it is slowly dawning on me what a huge role they are going to play in the future. 4k for the iPad.
Like how long is that going to take? 2/3 years…
Anyone like to hazard a guess!

I have a series of 4 blog posts based on what I learned at NAB Show 2013.

And I have to plug my buddies at EZ FX. The best of the best design, quality, price. The new DLSR remote for focus and zoom, and the new dolly rails are really nice.

Some great items guys!

That Edelkrone slider is ingenious! Edelkrone slider

The quality of the machining looks excellent. While watching I thought, "Hmm, I'd probably expect to pay 500 bucks for that - checked their site - $499. I should be on the Price is Right

They've got a bunch of very cool stuff, good marketing too. Their NAB slogan is "What happens in Vegas, won't stay in Vegas."

love it

NAB interesting discussion - Is DSLR Video Dead?

Matt Allard of News Shooter discusses with Andy Shipsides of Abel Cine, Jason Wingrove, and Paul Schnieder the topic, "Is DSLR Video Dead?"

(Hoping someone will eventually post a tutorial on how to get Vimeo vids to embed here)

Trix, to post vimeo videos simply copy the web address, then here in the reply topic field select the little video button (third from right) and paste the web address there.

But just make sure you only copy can paste the section from "vimeo.com/" onwards (dont copy the "https://" bit as its already in the field). Just remember, its should be 'http' not 'https' - you can manually change that in the field.

Thanks Simon, I'll try that from now on. Usually I'm just getting a bunch of code or the little url
