It has to do with the fact that in most of the world, fast Internet isn't an option. The technology for people to shoot in this quality is miles ahead of the content delivery methods. It's just interesting how these insanely high resolution cameras are priced so low that people producing content for the Internet can afford them, but a huge amount of people won't be able to watch them in that resolution. It really shows how much the market demands something like google fiber.

When more places have $130 a month plan for 1gbps down and up as well as hd television, watch how much video content on the Internet will explode. Streaming 4K? 1gbps can handle that no problem.
