Why don't we outlaw guns totally so no one can shoot anyone else?

Why not outlaw the Internet all together because people steal your ID and bankrupt you?

If criminals want to use these, they're going to use these. That has NEVER been a valid argument to prohibit the rest of society from access to technology.
