hai i am using quick time player 10.00,snow leapord 10.6.8
while i am opening some videos,error is showing like this,but in VLC it is playing
plse help me what should i do?

Something is formatted in a not standard way and QT doesn't recognize it. Where did the clip from from, how was it created? What format/codec is it?

and the details as CODECS :-MPEG-2 VIDEO,LINEAR,PCM,TIMECODE
KIND :-QUICKTIME MOVIE

Ah, the ugly MPEG-2 monster rears his ugly head, and Sony's infamous MPEG-2 at that. Yeah, MPEG-2 can vary all over the map depending on what has created or transcoded it and how.

Well, what is the file size of this video clip?

You may need to take it into Compressor to re-encode it as a ProRes file.
