Can#t forget about 3D animation.
My suggestion would be Cinema 4D or for cheap Blender (learning curve from hell compared to the $ ones.

I have to say, the learning curve in Blender has gone down substantially since the 2.5 release. I tried getting on the blender train with release 2.43 and was absolutely lost. Came back to give it a try when the re-designed the interface and have been quite pleasantly impressed.
Blender, I'm finding, is a very powerful, very versatile application. Spending some time with it opens up a ton of possibilities.

Still the title is disoriented I see your solution for a HTML 5 animation solution wich is okay for the price but no real HTML.
After reading your blog I feel allot of hatred against Adobe wonder why? They make awesome tools.

I know first hand there is a large sector of people for whom Adobe products are over priced, over bloated, and there are more affordable alternatives. The title is "Alternative..." Not "Main Stream..."
That's not hatred, that's honest facts.
Hype does HTML 5 coding as well as HTML 5 animation.
Adobe is fine if you really need that level of application and can afford that level of pricing for your up front purchase and future upgrades. But the article title and contents are VERY clear that it is about ALTERNATIVES to the big ticket main stream established apps. Nothing "disoriented" about it.
