Compressor 4.4.3 will not open.

I am unable to launch Compressor 4.4.3. The icon bounces in the dock for a while and then shows the static icon indicating - as usual that the app is open however the UI is nowhere to be seen. So far I've only updated to 4.4.3 on my laptop - an aging Late 2013 Macbook Pro. Anyone else experiencing this? I've trashed the app and re-downloaded it from the app store but still the same. I use Compressor all of the time - this is very disheartening.

I use a 2013 rMBP with no issues.

Get "FCS Remover" from Digital Rebellion (free) and use it to remove Compressor totally. Reboot, then reinstall.

You may also want to run Disk First Aid.

What OS X version are you on?
Be sure there's enough free space on your system drive.

I'm using Mojave - 14.14.1. I haven't used FCS remove since removing my no longer functioning Final Cut Studio - I'll give it a go. FCPX is also being a bit flakey at the moment - maybe it's all related. Thanks Ben.

Again, using the same laptop, no real issues.

You might also update to the latest Mojave of 10.14.2.
