Good morning,

I compressed a 1:45:00 project yesterday and burned off 4 Blu-ray disks before Compressor 4.1.3 began rejecting the media. Any additional blank blu-ray disk I placed into the OWC Mercury Pro burner was ejected. My only option was to say "Cancel Burn," under Compressor's Completed button, the job now shows in red as "Failed."

I still have the .ac3 and .264 files located in the project working director.

Is it possible to use these two files to "re-start" the burn process without creating a brand new batch? My little computer took over 9 hours to compress the 1:45:00 MOV file

Your help would be greatly appreciated...

Karl

I figured out how to re-start the burn process.

The problem, Compressor wouldn't recognize the blank disk I inserted into the burner. This happened on several disks in a row. Compressor would provide one option, cancel the burn. In return, the whole batch would fail.

As I mentioned earlier, the ac3 dolby file, and the .264 blu-ray file remained in my project root directory.

You can see in the image, the failed Paganini Final Jan7, 2015.mov with a status of failed. Right of this is the "Reuse" icon. Using the white arrow to the left, I expanding the tree and found the second line with status "Failed: DVD Burn Cancelled." Further to the right is the same "reuse" icon. This restarted the burn process.
