MXF export with closed cations

Now that we have native mxf support in both FCPX and Compressor I was wondering if anyone has had the time to test captioning support? I have done a sample run out of Compressor of a Prores 422 file compressed to MXF and embedding a .scc file. The only issue I see is being able to preview the MXF file with 'supposedly' embedded captions. I have played the file in Hamburgpromedia's MXF4mac player, but don't see an option to turn on captions or view captions in the mxf file.
Of course, I could upload my file to our stations master control operator and do some test runs, but I would rather have the testing done in house and not bog down our station.
*My next solution/step will be using AJA's Control Room app with our production monitor that allows us to view captions.

Im pretty sure Sony Vegas will marry the MXF (Im exporting the same way with Compr 4 and FCPX) with a .scc.

Looking at the test file I did with Vegas, I see 2 Text streams (using MediaInfo app): EIA-608 / EIA-708 AND my network saw them too.



Still looking for a viewer that will play MXF AND view the CC. No luck yet. Why is there no solutions other than Telestream SwitchPro ($300)?!?!

The problem with Vegas of course it's only for Windows. ARG!!!!
