Can't get a poster frame to stick with .mp4 was created by evanthowell
Hi, please tell me this is a dumb question.
Exporting from FCPX to Compressor 4.
I attach the format - in this case mpeg4
I move the play head to the frame I want as a thumbnail for movie.
I "set poster frame"
I compress
The resultant file is black (1st frame?)
I've tried repeatedly. Once I did get a frame, but it was a random one.
Any help?

Not a dumb question at all. – even if it weren't buggy, which it always has been.

I can usually get chapter images with some settings out of FCP X and Compressor – just not the ones of my choosing.
